  • We will recommend the most suitable solution and, of course, we will also arrange the installation and initial setup of the equipment in your company.
  • We ensure easy communication between terminals.
  • The biometric and RfId (EM125 or Mifare type chips/cards) terminal communicates via Ethernet 10/100 MBit and has an internal memory for at least 50,000 transactions, so it does not need an online connection to the data network.
  • Both technologies can work with the attendance database and can be conveniently managed from one place (Alpha module), including time and space zones in terms of access rights of individual employees or groups of employees.
  • Communication with terminals is provided by the AlfaCommZK service, which we recommend installing on the server. The service connects to the terminals via their fixed IP addresses.
  • The attendance system uses the FireBird SQL version 2.5 database for data storage.
  • To increase the security against unauthorized entry into the building, we recommend using the so-called wiegand data communication of the outdoor reader with a terminal located inside the building, which after verification of the received data gives a relay impulse to open the door.
  • This principle is described in the following figure. After removing the external reader, it is therefore not possible to open the door by simply connecting two wires! The power supply to the outdoor reader from the terminal is overload protected.

The terminals are fully autonomous and communicate via ethernet. Only the orange and green pairs are used for data transmission UTP cable.

Terminals They do not support POE, but with the help of injector and splitter the terminal can be powered via the remaining blue and brown pair of UTP cable.

When using cable min. CAT5 cable can be used to power the terminals to distance 50m. When using CAT6 to double distance. These data are only indicative and it is recommended to check the final solution by calculating the voltage drop.

Emphatically we do not recommend to supply the locks from the same line as the electric power supply. openers!

Information kiosk WP9 and WK17

  • Information kiosk with touch screen. Kiosks are PC running Windows 10, on which our applications run AlphaTerminal in modification for attendance terminal, ordering meals or for food service.
  • The main advantage is touchscreen, full-featured Win10 and passive cooling (does not draw outside air), which is a condition for long-term operation in stressful environment.
  • Other kiosk features: CPU quad core frequency 2.16GHz, capacity Touch 1920 x 1200 full HD display, memory DDR3L 2GB, hard drive 32 GB, Wi-Fi, 2x USB, RJ45, card reader IP30 protection. External power supply 12V, 3A.
  • The advantage of using the kiosk as an "attendance terminal" is the possibility of employee access to records of his/her length of service directly after the card is inserted.
  • Kiosks are supplied in two sizes 9" and 17". They are equipped with an EM125 card reader. Another advantage of this solution is the communication of the terminals towards the server.
  • This eliminates the need for public IP at remote sites outside your network. It is enough to have a public IP at the "headquarters" where the attendance database runs, to which the kiosks connect at regular intervals and transmit the necessary data from their local DB. The kiosk is fully autonomous and no "on line" communication with the server is needed for its operation

Additional modules and programmes

Communication module

This module works as a system service. It provides on-line transfer of events from the control unit to the database. You can set the intervals at which the transfer takes place according to your current needs.

Access Control Module

Module controlling access to individual objects or offices. Manages a database of persons and identification cards. For each person it is set which objects the person is allowed to access. You can also divide persons into several groups, in which you can also set access options.

Reception module

This module is most often used in reception and reception areas of larger companies. It keeps track of visitors in the building, monitors the movement of vehicles in the building, displays a photo of a person passing by. It also shows the location of people in the zones of the building or can quickly find the telephone contact of a person in the building.
